These terms explain how quotes, pickup requests and text communications work with J.W.D Junk Removal in Durham Region, Ontario.

Quotes and booking requests

Photo estimates are based on the items and access details you provide. Please include all items and let James know about stairs, restricted access or other conditions that may affect the work. The scope and price must be agreed upon before the work proceeds.

Submitting photos or requesting an appointment does not automatically confirm a booking. James reviews your request, confirms the estimate and personally approves the booking once the price has been agreed upon. Choosing to wait for a quote does not create an appointment.

Preparing for your pickup

You must have authority to arrange removal of the items. Clearly identify what should be removed, separate anything you want to keep, and provide safe access. Please discuss demolition work and any utilities or site hazards with James before the appointment.

Items we cannot accept

We do not accept hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, tires, fluorescent tubes, pianos, rock or soil. Contact James before booking if you are unsure about an item. Scrap metal pickup is a paid service.

Unattended pickups

Unattended pickup can be arranged in advance for items left at the curb or driveway, in an accessible backyard with gate access, or in an agreed accessible area behind an apartment building. James confirms the arrangement with you, provides before-and-after photos, and accepts e-transfer after completion.

Changes and payment

If your items, access details or preferred appointment change, contact James as soon as possible so the scope, estimate and schedule can be reviewed. Payment details and applicable taxes are confirmed with your quote or invoice. Contact James promptly with any question about the completed work or a payment.
